77th international film art exhibition in Venice
2020
Venice, Italy
Energy, technology and green, the design of 500 lido lounge space at the 77th international film art exhibition in Venice, reflects on the combination of these three elements, both from a design and a communicative point of view. The new electric Fiat 500 is the synthesis of this for a new sustainable balance.
The set-up includes both an internal and an external area. In the interior of lounge bar, a truncated conical circular counter, made by a combination of glass and Corian, dominates the space with its barycentric position, inside of it the presence of a tree characterizes the message, while the wall in background shows images of films in which Fiat 500 was protagonist. The layout of sitting rooms articulates internal space between public and semi-private, guaranteeing privacy as a set for interviews. The external part foresees presence of a platform, again in glass and Corian, on which a model of the new Fiat 500 is exhibited. The presence of a tree symbolizes vital energy, creating an indissoluble link between technological and nature.
